Who we are
The Medic Method was founded in Cambridge by Doctors with direct experience on both sides of the medical school application process. As former interview panel members for leading UK medical schools, we understand precisely what distinguishes successful applicants. Alongside our clinical work, we have taught and mentored medical students and doctors in the UK and abroad, continually refining our teaching approach through experience.
We created The Medic Method because we saw too many capable students fall short due to poor advice, uncertainty, and generic coaching that failed to reflect the reality of modern medical interviews. We wanted to offer something different, a structured, honest preparation method.
Our method is built on first-hand insight, not guesswork. We draw from:
- Question banks based on recent UK interviews
- Evidence-based coaching techniques grounded in practical learning principles
- A personalised, interactive feedback model focused on continuous improvement
Instead of offering one-off sessions, we provide a structured coaching model that supports reflection and growth over time. Each session is personalised to the interview format and the universities a student is applying to, and clear, practical feedback is provided after every meeting.
We work with both sixth-form students and graduate applicants, helping them prepare with precision and purpose. We aim to develop clarity, professionalism, and the mindset admissions teams expect from future doctors.
The Medic Method is more than interview practice. It is focused, strategic coaching delivered by doctors who understand what it takes to succeed.
